An amaze-ing book display on London's South Bank

Artists Marcos Saboya and Gualter Pupo amass 250,000 books - including many Phaidon favourites

Artists Marcos Saboya and Gualter Pupo have created aMazeme, a huge maze of 250,000 books currently on show at the Southbank Centre Clore Ballroom, as part of London 2012. The maze, produced by production company hungryman, spans 500 square metres and is inspired by the work of Argentinian poet and author Jorge Borges. The design is apparently based upon his fingerprint. The maze will be on show at the Southbank until August 26 after which all the books will be donated to Oxfam.
