Summer smoothie

A recipe from Recipes from an Italian Summer

Preparation: 10 minutes

Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

600ml (1 pint) low-fat natural yogurt

600ml (1 pint) crushed ice

50g (2oz) caster sugar

juice of ½ small lemon, strained

4 daisies, to decorate

Method:

Pour the yogurt into a blender, add the crushed ice, sugar and lemon juice and process at medium speed until smooth and even.

Divide the smoothie among 4 glasses, decorate each with a daisy and serve.
