We’ve teamed up with the acclaimed Roman and Williams to bring a carefully curated library to NYC

You can enjoy a Phaidon book almost anywhere, though when it comes to reading about the visual or culinary arts, a great setting does help.

With this in mind, we’re very pleased to announce our role in Roman and Williams Guild New York, a new 7,000 square-foot SoHo store from Roman and Williams, the award-winning interior design firm founded in 2002 by Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch.

The pair already have a prestigious client list, which includes Ben Stiller and Gwyneth Paltrow among others. Now, at Guild, Phaidon joins those select, happy few.

We have put together a library for Guild, featuring a carefully curated selection of Phaidon titles. Visit Guild and you will not only be able to browse through Roman and Williams’ Founding Collection – a 55 piece interiors and homeware line made by a select craftspeople from around the world – but also order fresh flowers, dine at the French café La Mercerie – and also take a little time to leaf through our titles.

Unlike some retailers, the Guild doesn’t want you to buy and say ‘bye’. “You will want to pull a book out of the library,” says the firm, “filled with thoughtfully curated titles from the premier global publisher of the creative arts Phaidon, and stay.”

You can find out more by dropping by at the Guild 53 Howard Street, New York, or by going here.
