Darroch Putnam wants to help you get married in style
One of NY’s leading floral designers is taking part in a free NYC panel discussion called “I’m Engaged! Now What?!”
When it comes to successfully pairing off, it is sometimes helpful to get some advice from happily married husbands and wives. And, if, say, one of those advisors also helped oversee the flowers at Gwyneth Paltrow’s wedding, well, so much the better.
Fortunately, Darroch Putnam – co-founder of New York’s greatest floral design firm Putnam & Putnam with his husband Michael – is both those things, and he’s offering free advice to newly engaged couples in New York later this month.
On the evening of Wednesday 30 January, Darroch will join the acclaimed wedding planner Jove Meyer, the photographer Lucy Cuneo, and Jess Levin Conroy, founder of the wedding networking service Carats & Cake, to discuss contemporary matrimonial services, at Heaven’s Kitchen, the NY cookery school, café and event space, in a panel discussion entitled I’m Engaged! Now What?!
The name, according to Darroch, really sums the event up. “Are you a newly engaged couple stumbling through the unfamiliar landscape of wedding planning?” he asks, via Instagram. “We’ve got you. Celebrate and get some grounded guidance from the best in the biz about how to take those first steps toward the altar.”
