Our Kitchen Shelf authors host a special event with Soho House's Barber & Parlour next week. Why not come?
After years of cooking, eating and splashing out on 'of the moment' ingredients, food writer Eve O'Sullivan and food stylist Rosie Reynolds realized that actually, it's all about creating something special without any of the fuss. Those staples on the shelf supplemented by a good spice rack and a couple of ingredients from the store can be used to create something stand out, fail-safe, and most importantly, delicious. Hence their new book, The Kitchen Shelf which tells you how to take a few pantry essentials, add two ingredients bought on your way home from work and create an extraordinary evening meal.
We're launching the book in London next week in conjunction with Soho House's Barber & Parlour (just round the corner from Shoreditch House) with some dishes recreated from the recipes in The Kitchen Shelf - and we'd love you to come!
The Barber & Parlour supperclub takes place next Wednesday (4 May). Eve and Rosie will be there to host guests and talk through how you can create the perfectly stocked ‘kitchen shelf’ and why they were inspired to create the new book.
Guests on the night can purchase the book for £19.95 (£5 off) ahead of publication on May 25. The Kitchen Shelf Supper, Wednesday 4th May at 7pm costs £30 for a three-course meal and a cocktail on arrival. More information and tickets can be found here.
