Phaidon.com orders are fulfilled from one of our distribution partners in the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, or Australia.

When your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. You can check the status of your package and the estimated delivery date online by using the tracking number. If you order multiple items, they may be shipped and delivered separately.

Orders are processed within 2-3 business days and shipped, assuming stock availability, within 5-10 business days. Please refer to the courier grid here to view courier partners and shipping timelines.

For pre-ordered items, please be sure to note the ship date listed on the product page. Your order will ship from that date.

Processing and shipping times vary according to the purchased item, its origin, and the shipping destination. Most orders are processed and shipped within 10 to 14 business days. However, some items may be processed faster, while others might take more time, particularly if they require special packaging or handling.

Insurance is automatically included in shipping fees on limited-edition artworks and covers door-to-door handling. All packages containing limited-edition artworks must be accepted and signed for upon delivery. Due to the valuable nature of artworks, packages should not be left unattended.

If there is an item missing from your order, please email customer.service@phaidon.com so we can assist in resolving the issue.

Returns & Refunds

Phaidon has a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Please read our shipping and return policies carefully.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase of a book or limited-edition artwork, you may return it within 14 days of receipt and receive a replacement or a refund for the price of the product. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Email customer.service@phaidon.com to request your return and verify it is eligible. After Customer Service has approved your return, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your return.

Pack all items back in the original box or tube with your original order confirmation, as well as all of the packaging materials.

When returning limited-edition artworks, please take care to include the certificate of authenticity that was included in the original shipment. If a return is sent without the proper paperwork, the return will not be accepted. All works must be returned in perfect condition in their original packaging to qualify for returns.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return from Customer Service will not be accepted, and we will not issue a refund.

The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund amount.

Please inspect your order upon receipt. In the unfortunate event that your order arrives in less than satisfactory condition, take a digital photo of the item and of the shipping container it came in. Attach the images to an email and send them to customer.service@phaidon.com with your order details and a description of the issue.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take several days for your bank or credit-card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please email customer.service@phaidon.com.
