The print is available in a limited run of 50.

Using laser-copying techniques, Dayton manipulates and layers images, shifting between matte and glossy surfaces to build depth. In this edition, flowers, stripped of leaves and stems, are repeated and multiplied into a field of color and pattern. New Eden recalls the years 1989-1990, revisiting and expanding upon Dayton's early concepts for his flower series. The series embraces repetition and vibrant colors, combining familiar florals together into unique patterns distinctly Dayton's own.

After a decade in the music industry, Dayton returned to visual art in the late 1980s, working out of a small tool shed behind his mother’s house. He began cutting and assembling images sourced from discarded 1950s Home and Garden magazines, experimenting with collage and decoupage as a way back into the art world. “Wouldn’t it be weird if I made collages from these pictures of gardens and presented them as contemporary art?” he recalls. That question marked the start of a practice that continues to evolve decades later.
