Back in 2003, just five short years after Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec had burst onto the design scene, turning it pretty much upside down in the process, Phaidon felt sure enough of their talent to produce the only monograph on them. In the intervening years, the brothers have continued to create ever more groundbreaking, innovative, simple, beautiful and always interesting products for the likes of Alessi, Vitra and Habitat.

As we gear up to publish Works, a new book packed with stunning photographs, previously unseen imagery and drawings from the brothers' archives – pretty much everything they’ve ever worked on in fact - Phaidon.com caught up with Ronan and Erwan in Paris to ask them a bit about the project, what’s happened in the years since their last book with us and what we can expect from them next. Click the video above to see them in conversation.

Meanwhile if you’re going to Salone Internazionale Del Mobile in Milan, watch out for a Bouroullec Brothers talk - details of which we'll be updating you with on Monday. We'll also be telling you how you can get your hands on one of only 20 signed copies of Works via the Phaidon store. Maybe check out our wealth of stories on the Bouroullec Brothers while you wait for the update.
