Iconic images from the man who multiplied Audrey and gave us The Doe Eye
An exhibition celebrating work of Parisian Magnum photographer Jeanloup Sieff (1933–2000) is currently on view at Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
Sieff became famous for his intimate black and white dance and fashion photographs, and started his career in the early 50s and went on to work with numerous magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle. Sief was also responsible for Yves Saint Laurent's 1971 infamous men’s fragrance campaign, and was particularly inspired by actresses and dancers whose daily trainings and rigorous practice became a frequent subject of his work.
Follow the link to Dazed Digital to read an interview with Anna Tellgren, the curator of the exhibition and view a gallery of Sieff's photographs.
