Jonathan Olivares, author of A Taxonomy of Office Chairs and head of design consultancy Jonathan Olivares Design Research in Boston, talks through his inspiration for his first book and why he chose the office chair.

'I wanted to find something that on the one hand had a very rich technical history, but on the other related to the human body in an intuitive way,' says Olivares.
