'Innovation is the highest priority' says Hella Jongerius, the Dutch product designer, now living and working in Berlin. With an exhibition and book coming up - both entitled 'Misfit' - we visited Jongerius at her studio in Berlin where she explained the idea of 'misfit' and her approach to design, her method of working and the idea that even with industrially produced objects - the emphasis should be on craft, with the hand of the maker visible.
