Have you seen Jean Jullien’s iPhone stickers for Vogue?

The French-born illustrator and author has created these cute iMessage images for Vogue’s app users

September is almost here, and, for Vogue readers, it’s time for a style update. Once that meant a little light magazine reading and a trip to the boutiques. However, America’s leading fashion publication is moving with the times, by providing its readers with an iPhone style overhaul, courtesy of the French graphic artist and Phaidon author, Jean Jullien.

Jullien has designed a series of iMessage 'stickers' which can be dropped into the iPhone’s instant-messaging service once users have downloaded the Vogue app.

While the images aren’t explicitly fashion-related, Vogue has included subtler signifiers for their social milieu.

“There’s an endless revolving door for when Fashion Week has you crazed,” explains Vogue.com, “a literal cat catwalk for your sassier days, and an AWOK Post-it for when your look gets the Vogue stamp of approval.”

AWOK, for those outside US Vogue’s inner circle, stands for “Anna Wintour O.K.”, and is inscribed by the magazine’s editor on approved submissions. Nice to see she signed off on this one (rather than writing Keep Trying" - a comment she uses when she knows a journalist can do better).
