This video with Daniel Libeskind reminds us of a chat we had with the architect a few years back when he’d been commissioned to rebuild the Ground Zero site. When we asked how he started out designing a building he replied: “I imagine a very old lady maybe 50 years from now, walking down a corridor, holding out her hand and opening a door.” No doodle on a piece of paper, no computer generated image.
