Jeff Wall wins 2008 Audain Prize

Wall has had solo exhibitions in numerous art museums around the world, including Museum of Modern Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Mito Art Tower, and Tate Modern. The Vancouver Art Gallery has become the largest public holder of Wall's work in North America thanks in part to funding provided by the Audain Foundation. For 2008, the Audain award has been increased by five thousand dollars to thirty thousand dollars and will be presented at the Vancouver Art Gallery on May 22.
